Maybe you need to check your POP3 (send) settings, they may or may not be the same as your SMTP (receive) server.
Reply:Yes u have to put all the infom required
Reply:email support@yahoo.com
Reply:This is a common problem in Outlook Express.

Select Tools, Accounts, Mail (tab), highlight your email account and click Properties. On the Server tab ensure that the box 'My mail server requires authentication' is ticked.

This box is not ticked bu default and most ISPs require this.
Reply:The same question was asked by different person and I gave the solution yo check my server requires authentication in the account properties under server.
Reply:i also faced a similar problem last month.

here r my suggestions :

Check your outbox settings
Reply:Make very certain the e-mail you have are complete if you are just missing 1 letter or # it well do that.
Reply:call ur isp...collect ur pop3 and smtp port no. and then follow steps as told by excellent solution and also collect server address from isp....with bt it is mail.btinternet.com
Reply:Other way round - if you're getting emails, your POP settings are fine. If you can't send, something is wrong with your SMTP settings. Make sure you have the correct SMTP server details, port and security protocol (check you have the right user name %26amp; password if you need them). Contact your email provider if that doesn't work.
Reply:Maybe your acount is lost or something. Make a new one.
Reply:never heard of this problem but I think everyone else here knows more
